Corporations with economic development opportunities both on tribal land
and across the country. While a handful of tribes have had some
success in developing businesses that are active in government
contracting a much larger number have had little or no involvement in
this area.
Rather than trying to assist tribes in developing businesses that could grow to the point of being a successful government contracting enterprise, our strategy involves helping tribes to identify existing businesses that are available to be acquired or to form teaming opportunities with companies that already have established clients, historical revenue and cash flow and would be eligible for 8(a) status. We assist in the locating, acquisition, funding and management of these opportunities. Additionally some tribes have successful gaming operations ranging from a single small casino to multiple locations with total values in the hundreds of millions of dollars. In this case tribes are often looking to create additional business opportunities through related entertainment opportunities such as golf courses, hotels and restaurants.
